Koolhaas

I haven’t managed to photograph some of my recent project, so here’s an older finished object:

My cousin lives in San Francisco, and it can be quite chill there, so I decided to knit him a hat for his birthday. Jared Flood – Brooklyn Tweed – comes up with the most incredible designs. After seeing other people’s projects knit in Malabrigo, I decided that it was the perfect yarn for the project – and the colors are just gorgeous. I had this lovely skein of Malabrigo Buscando Azul where the blue fairly glows. The project is also a good first cabling project. I should have tried the cabling without a cable needle though.

The hat is knit in the larger size, so it doesn’t quite fit me right. But still, you get an idea of the finished object (Ravelry link).
